On behalf of our client in The Netherlands we are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer, for the Maritime sector, with the following qualifications:
- A Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of working experience
- Working experience in the maritime industry will be considered a big advantage
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or E-plan 8
- Good communication skills. Ability to motivate and coach a team.
- Results oriented attitude
- Team player
- Fluent English
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and coach a team of engineers
- Be responsible for the designs, and technical design calculations of complex electro technical & automation installations at ships
- Keep up to date rules, regulations, standards, and techniques
- Implement new rules, regulations and techniques in the company
- Advise clients when needed
- Materialize the clients wishes into technical concept
- Work closely with the Sales/Calculations team
- Select and manage materials, and technical data
- Assist the project leader
